Music in West Kilbride was formed in 1986 as the West Kilbride Music Club – with the aim of providing professional music concerts in North Ayrshire of the same high quality as those in Glasgow. This has been successfully achieved through the consistently high standard of our varied and imaginative seasonal programmes and is evidenced by our growing membership and increasing visitor numbers.
Besides our concerts, we also encourage musical understanding and development in our local schools. Many of our visiting performers also spend time running musical workshops in West Kilbride Primary School or Ardrossan Academy.
Music in West Kilbride is a Registered Charity (SCO37517) and is supported by Chamber Music Scotland (through funding provided by Creative Scotland) and North Ayrshire Council.
