Opening our season on 9th October 2026 will be the Chloé Piano Trio, Tunnell Trust Award Winners 2024/25. The ensemble was formed in 2017 by talented emerging musicians at the Royal College of Music, London, and since then they have performed across the UK and abroad (France, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands), in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room, Kings Place, Royal Academy of Arts & Champs Hill, the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, Lichfield Festival, Hargrave Festival and the Wigmore Hall. Notable appearances include performing for HRH King Charles during his President Visit at the Royal College of Music in March 2020 and their debut recital at Kings Place London in December 2023.

Romanian pianist, George Todică, needs little introduction to MiWK members, who delighted at his performance in 2024. He has a string of competition successes, including winner of the Royal Overseas League Keyboard Prize 2022, 2nd Prize at the George Enescu Piano Competition 2022, and 1st Prizes at the Norah Sande Award in England, ‘Stefano Marizza’ Piano Competition in Italy, the Moray Piano Competition in Scotland, and Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales. International performances include prestigious venues such as Trento Philharmonic Hall, the Mozarteum Concert Hall, the Dôme de Pontoise in France, Wigmore Hall, St. Martin-in-the-field, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Theatre Clwyd, Buxton Festival, Lichfield Festival and King’s Lynn Festival. George has recorded 4 CD albums with soprano Charlotte Hoather, and has performed as a soloist with the European Union Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Chamber Orchestra.
Romanian violinist Maria Gîlicel is recognized for her versatility and passion on stage. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra member in venues such as Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Carnegie Hall, Berliner Philharmoniker, Wigmore Hall, Kings Place and Barbican Centre. Since obtaining her Artist Diploma, Masters and BMus (Hons) at the Royal College of Music London, Maria has been awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society Emily Anderson Prize for soloists, worked with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Netherlands Chamber and Philharmonic Orchestras and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and currently holds a sub-principal position at the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.


Dutch cellist Jobine Siekman, BBC Music Magazine ‘Rising Star’ artist, is quickly building her career as an exceptional chamber musician and soloist. She was a prize winner of the Cellobiennale Amsterdam Competition and the RCM Anna Shuttleworth ‘Bach’ Prize. Jobine is a member of several successful ensembles and her highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall. BBC 3 broadcast Jobine’s performance of Webern’s two pieces for cello and piano, and she was featured in the ‘In Focus’ film performing the sixth Bach Suite and newly commissioned works on the ‘Amaryllis Fleming’-Amati cello piccolo. In 2022 she launched a concert series in Groningen, performing the full cycle of Bach suites and has since successfully continued the series.
